About us Finding a home in a new area isn’t easy especially if you’re moving some distance or from abroad. Estate agents details only contain the most basic facts, so it’s impossible to tell what a house is really like - let alone whether it’s located near a noisy road, railway line or busy pub. Instead of wasting valuable time visiting properties that turn out to be unsuitable, we handle all the time-consuming groundwork for you to find a property that meets your unique needs exactly. We can even source a few surprises - properties that you may not have considered, but which turn out to be perfect. For example, one of our clients was sure he wanted a 3 bed bungalow but was thrilled when we found a spacious 5 bed house for the same price. Another was overwhelmingly happy with the 3 bed, 2 bath apartment we found for her in a large country house – far more roomy than her original 2 bed flat criteria. If we find something that we’re sure you’ll love, we’ll tell you about it. You never know, it could be just what you’ve been looking for all along! These days, good properties are snapped up almost as soon as they come onto the market. So it can be a godsend to have someone local working on your behalf. We contact estate agents regularly to ensure you secure a viewing of the perfect property, often before it comes onto the market. Our local links also mean we’re often the first to hear about properties being sold privately, so you get advance choice. We draw up a shortlist of suitable properties complete with photographs and our impartial comments. We can also source all the relevant background information, for example if a chain is involved, if there’s a deadline for completion and what kind of offer is likely to be accepted. As skilled negotiators, we can also negotiate the best possible price if you wish, so you could find yourself with a bargain. And once you’ve decided to view, we can introduce you to the agent, arrange overnight accommodation, even show you round the property in person.
